GRAD-QUARTET

A new word in modern ensemble performance with Russian folk instruments.

A unique, modern and multi-format project from St. Petersburg, founded in 2006. An exploration of endless possibilities and sounds of Russian folk instruments for the audience to discover.

The ensemble performs musical pieces of:
- world popular
- classical and opera music in its own arrangements.
There are no limits for us in music.

The ensemble's repertoire includes almost 100 original compositions of classical and modern music, recomposed by the musicians.

They are often compared to "The Beatles" or "Queen" - bands that have transformed the listeners' perception of traditional rock culture, forcing them to take a fresh look at collective creativity and pop music in general.

Continuing the popular Russian crossover style, created in Russia by the legendary Terem-Quartet, the Grad-Quartet members also emphasize their own musical individuality. They masterfully combine modern and classical music genres, and their tracks are filled with incredible energy, drive, acting and virtuoso skills.

During its creative activity, the Grad Quartet has performed over 500 concerts, performing in 30 countries of the world including 10 international music festivals. The ensemble performs at popular concert venues in Russia, the CIS, Europe, America, England, China and has tremendous success with the public.
